Job Description

We are seeking a commercially savvy Cloud and Security Product & Propositions Manager to oversee customer management and ensure profitable relationships. This role demands experience in product lifecycle management, market research, and creating compelling product propositions. Leadership and stakeholder management skills are key for ensuring cross-functional collaboration and driving product success. Data-driven decision-making and go-to-market strategies are critical for business growth and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities as a Cloud and Security Product & Propositions:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver growth and ensure timely, budget-friendly delivery of products and services.
  • Innovate based on customer, market, and technology insights, working with sales, technical solution architects, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Stimulate lead generation and growth with agile go-to-market propositions targeting specific markets and personas.
  • Launch commercial pricing propositions and bundles to promote new business, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain the product & service portfolio, managing new product introductions, vendor evaluations, and ongoing recommendations.
  • Ensure technical, sales, and commercial capability to win in changing markets, and manage product sunsetting.
  • Create go-to-market strategies, including sales enablement materials, customer communications, and agile propositions.
  • Oversee full product operational readiness, including service definition design, sales documentation, training, commercial contracts, security, and sustainability.

KPIs:

  • Revenue, margin, profit, contribution to overheads, ideally EBITDA.
  • Marketing (MQL), sales (SQL), and pipeline (opportunity) adds and funnel conversion rates.
  • Sales performance vs targets & market growth.
  • New business sales profitability.
  • Roadmap delivery vs milestones.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 4 years' experience in a product manager role.
  • Detailed knowledge of the UK business Cloud & Security markets.
  • Experience managing vendors and understanding their product sets.
  • Understanding of marketing and experience with product launches.
  • Experience with commercial businesses, public sector, and third-sector organisations.
